6 Şubat 2023’te Kahramanmaraş merkezli meydana gelen 2 büyük deprem, 10
ilimizde geniş çaplı yıkım yaratmıştır.
Depremin yıkıcı etkilerinin yarattığı hasarı hem toplumsal hem de bireysel anlamda
derinden yaşamaktayız. Sektörümüz ilk andan itibaren, kamu ve özel sektörün tüm
bileşenleri ile bir araya gelerek bu büyük afedin etkilerini azaltma yönünde elinden
gelen tüm gayreti göstermiş ve göstermeye devam etmektedir.
Deprem bugünü olduğu kadar geleceğimizi de etkileyecek!
Özellikle geleceğimizin sahibi olan çocuklarımızı… Depremin en çok etkilediği
çocuklarımızın yaşadıkları travmayı atlatabilmesi için hem rehabilitasyon hem de
geleceğe güvenle bakabilmelerini sağlayacak iyileştirme çalışmalarına yapılan
destekler umudumuzu yeşertmiştir.
Bugün sahip olduklarımızın insan değerleri açısından sürmesi ve gelişmesi için
çocuklarımız en hayati konudur. Unutulmamalıdır ki, ülkemiz nüfusunda % 16 pay
alan 10 ilimizde, 0-15 yaş grubu çocuklarımız depremden en çok etkilenen
varlıklarımız. Öyle ki, bu yaş grubu çocuklarımızın payı Türkiye’de % 23,5 iken 10
ilimizde yaklaşık % 30.Öte yandan maddi kayıplar, ekonominin her alanında telafi
edilebilecek olandır. Yeter ki insani değerlerimiz canlı ve umutlu olsun. Acımız ve
umudumuz büyük: Tarih gösteriyor ki, umudu taşıyacak olan insandır; nasıl
taşınacağının da Türk tarihinde bir çok örneği vardır. Bir yenisini de dün olduğu gibi
yine insanımız ve çocuklarımız yeşertecektir.

We have become one for Türkiye!
Two major earthquakes that occurred in Kahramanmaraş on February 6, 2023
caused widespread destruction in 10 provinces.
We feel heartfelt sorrow by the devastating effects of the earthquake, both as a
society and individually. Our sector, by joining together with all members of the
public and private sector, has done its best to mitigate the effects of this great
disaster and continues to do so.
The earthquake will affect our future as well as today!
Especially our children, to whom our future belongs… In order for our children, who
are most affected by the earthquake, to overcome the trauma they have
experienced, both support for their rehabilitation and other improvement efforts
that will enable them to look at the future with confidence, have raised our hopes.
Our children are the most vital component for the continuation and development of
what we have today in terms of humane values. It should not be forgotten that in
our 10 provinces, which account for 16% of the population of our country, our
children aged 0-15 are the most affected group by the earthquake.
So much so that while the share of our children in this age group is 23.5% in Türkiye, it is around 30%
in the 10 provinces. On the other hand, material losses are those that can be
compensated in every area of the economy. As long as our humane values remain
alive and hopeful. Our pain and our hope is great: History shows that people carry
hope. There are many examples of this in Turkish history. Our people and our
children will flourish again, just like yesterday.
With this belief, we share the pain of our nation and will continue our work.
